The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tracy of Magee. The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Simpson Jr. of Flora.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Maggie Sottero corset gown of diamond white lace over gold satin. Her off-the-shoulder gown flowed into a sweep train and was embellished with bugle beads, sequins, and pearls. The elbow-length veil was adorned with pearls and Swarovski crystals and edged in gold satin. The bride also wore a pearl and crystal necklace and drop earrings that matched her headpiece and a pearl bracelet that was a wedding gift from the groom. She carried her late mother-in-law’s handkerchief with her cascading bouquet of ivory, salmon, and jade roses and peach calla lilies accented with hypericum berries.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was Donna Soliz of Nashville, Tennessee. Bridesmaids were Samantha Atkinson, Amanda Lieb, and Cathy Grant of Brandon; Erin Lyons of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Laurel Tracy of Pasadena, Texas; and Sydney Simpson of Flora. The flower girl was Andie Simpson of Flora.

Attendants wore full-length plum gowns of different styles in satin, organza, and iridescent chiffon. They carried bouquets of peach, salmon, and jade roses, peach alstroemeria, and hanging amaranths, accented with foliage collars and hand-tied with peach ribbons.

The groom’s brother, Stanley Simpson of Flora, served as best man. Groomsmen were Chris Taylor of Memphis, Tennessee; Robert Grant, Michael Atkinson, and Bryan Lieb of Brandon; Danny Soliz of Nashville, Tennessee; and Bryce Tracy of Pasadena, Texas.

The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Rex Baker. Piano and organ music was presented by Sherlene Gill. Vocalists were Mandy Faulkner and Glenn Driskell.

Afterwards, a reception was held at The Country Club of Jackson, where guests dined on a delicious assortment of appetizers and entrees. The bride’s cake resembled a stack of gifts with square layers of tiramisu cake frosted with butter creme and fondant. Each layer was decorated in a unique pattern of ivory and gold and the cake was topped with a large fondant bow. The groom’s cake was a delicious dark and milk chocolate rendition of the Gotham City skyline, complete with Batman. Both cakes were designed and made by Maria deLaBarre of The Cake Diva. Following dessert, guests danced to the music of Peter Christian Entertainment.

On the eve of the wedding, the groom’s family honored the couple with a rehearsal dinner at Shapley’s in Ridgeland.

Following a honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple is at home in Madison, where the groom is an advertising executive and the bride is an elementary teacher.
