A white arbor adorned with sterling silver roses and Vendella roses served as a backdrop for the wedding as the bride and groom exchanged their vows. Rev. Samuel O. Morris officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Arthur Allen of Jackson. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Odie D. Jones of Bartlett, Tennessee, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wesley Sisson of Potomac, Maryland.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a designer gown of white silk crepe. The elegant gown was dotted with rows of hand-sewn Austrian crystals. The seamless front draped softly into a light trumpet skirt, and the low-cut back fell into a sweep at the train. Completing the gown was a simple veil with one layer of silk illusion. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of Vendella roses with blue tweedia accents and stephanotis blossoms, enhanced with sapphire and rhinestone crystal beads.

Mollie Allen and Kimberly Elliott, sisters of the bride, served as maid and matron of honor, respectively. Bridesmaids were Kristen Posey and Mary Mills Lane. The attendants wore two-piece ensembles of light blue, featuring jeweled halter tops and straight skirts. They carried bouquets of sterling silver roses, blue delphinium, tweedia, and Vendella roses. Mary Chosen Caples served as the flower girl.

Mr. Corky Jones served his son as best man. Grooms men were Blake and Chris Allen, brothers of the bride; Matt Beavers; and Justin Burton. The usher was Jeff Pettyjohn, and program attendants were Kelly and Courtney Munson, cousins of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a reception at the Santa Rosa Beach Club with music provided by Bobby Moore and the Rhythm Aces.

On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the groom entertained the wedding party with a rehearsal dinner at Bud & Alley’s. A bridesmaids’ luncheon was hosted by Mrs. Christine Munson, aunt of the bride, on the day of the wedding at Borago.

Following a honeymoon trip to Disney World, the couple resides in Memphis, Tennessee, where he works for Varsity Spirit Corporation in the production department, and she attends the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law.
